About

This website is a resource for Vandercook proof press operators. It also aspires to provide information on other brands of flat bed cylinder proof presses. While their popularity and dollar values increase, little regard has been given to the history and care of these aging, precision-built machines. In order to rectify this the site features an index of models (with images and specs), a manufacturing timeline, serial number tables, a model features comparison chart, brief historical articles, an annotated bibliography and a blog where registered members can submit posts and comments.
