1962 Super Royal No. 10: "The complicated three roller inking system was so touchy and relied on a tiny release pin to keep the rollers from turning while the drive drum was running that we took off the inking system. It has remained in service as a press for blind stamping and other heavy-hitting needs because the [impression cylinder] is so large and wide, 19". It was a donation to the former Graphic Arts Technology School and was handed down to us as that program bit the dust.... It had a lovely, metal Max Simmel logo on the side...." (Eric May)
