    Well, it could be the lost punch that is the key to all Vandercook parts–the Rosetta punch. But then again, the brass tag is typical of 1930s/40s Vandercook style, and my immediate thought was that it may be war related and of no relevance to the press line. Vandercook also made tooling for others, so it’s anyone’s guess.
