219 OS Feedboard

Posted September 23, 2008 by Jordan Ferney   1,226 views    4 Comments    Print Print

I am missing a 219 OS Feedboard. Specifically the metal lip. I’ve exhausted all the sources I know about and have been unable to find a spare part. If you have one or know of one please email me at jordananne@yahoo.com . I posted something similiar a year ago but this is my last ditch effort to find an original before I have Fritz manufacture one.

Thank you!

I finally located all three drawings today, B-57 Feed Board Assembly, BM-21 Feed Board, and BB-9 Feed Board Edge. So, I will be getting quotes for Jordan on having these parts made. The table edge was made out of stainless steel, with a slot for the paper side guide and the slot was graduated in 1/8″ marks. The table itself is five-ply Birch plywood. One of anything is not inexpensive, but at last I did locate these, all drawn between 1927 and 1930.

Thanks Daniel. He just has a 219 feedboard (not OS).

    Hey Joy,

I’m not sure if it would work. Ted thought it would. if it was rigged a little bit.

    Hey Jordan,
Did you ever find out if the NS feedboard that I have could work on the OS? –joy

Did you ask Ted Salkin? Last I checked he had one, it was just overpriced. It might be worth comparing the cost of his to the cost of fabrication.
