Hello,
I was wondering if anybody had any tips for removing a single coat of paint off of the rails of a vandercook #3. Would a solution such as Citristrip do the job without damaging the rails?

No solution short of an acid will eat the metal. Citrustrip will work, but any green product with water in it may rust so don’t leave it on too long. A little mineral spirits and a rag will remove it with the least mess.
