    Hi Marc,
I have also have a Universal II.
Your press should have an adjustable bed. The adjustment wheel should be located to the far right of the press, before the end bracket. As you can see mine is broken in half.

Marc is in Antwerp and the press is currently in Holland. He said had seen it with feed board and paper shelves installed. He will send new photos when he finishes his shop and moves it in.

Neat press! I wondered when I’d finally get to see a photo of one of these!

Congratulations! This model is rare because only 55 were made. NA Graphics has a manual: http://nagraph.com/ By consulting the serial number model card on file, NA will be able to tell you how this press was originally equipped.

To quickly see if this press has an adjustable bed look for a scale/indicator on the right end of the bed and a felt strip between the bed bearers (raised smooth rails) and bed surface.

Your photo shows the bumper adjustment lever on the right end, but is missing the bed end bracket on which the hand wheel and bed extension is attached. More importantly, do you have the feed board bracket? See http://vandercookpress.info/vanderblog/timeline/4/#uni_ii
