I am working with an sp 15 that doesn’t stop at the end of its run, also the grippers will not release. Are these two issues related? Am I missing a part?
Thank you.

The grippers are not releasing because the trip roller (X-12233) that is attached to the gripper trip lever (X-21020) on the backside of the carriage has stopped short of the cam (X-26790). The roller should run outward on the camp, which would push the top of the gripper trip lever inward. This moves the cam shaft toward the operator. These cams open the gripper pins. See Sheet 288-B.
