Advice on purchasing

Posted July 31, 2011 by ChrisTorres   473 views    2 Comments    Print Print

First post! I am looking to purchase a Vandercook and needed some advice. I am basically looking to get one that has at least a 14″ x 20″ if not larger working form. In good condition and wanted to know some modal numbers to consider. Also, what price range would it run for? I will be using it for my letterpress shop for posters for events and bands. As well as multiple up projects. I am considering a 15-20 and wanted to know your thoughts on it. I do have one in particular that I am looking at but need to see it in person. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

In general, Vandercooks are scarce. For a comparison of models that you are mostly likely to encounter see the Quick specs page: http://vandercookpress.info/vanderblog/specs/

The 15-20 you mentioned was discussed here: http://vandercookpress.info/vanderblog/2011/02/15-20/
