I have had a lot of slurring today that I have not been able to get rid of no matter what I try. The ink looks really uneven too. I have brand new rollers and printed 2 jobs last weekend that were perfect. Nothing is different today except that my print looks horrible. After a few hours I realized that when in print the bearings that roll over the bed bearers were not rolling in certain areas. They always rolled back or when in trip. Right where they stopped rolling it became harder to roll the cylinder out. (I’m not using too thick of paper either or trying to punch too hard)I don’t think this is suppose to happen and have no idea how to fix the problem. I’m pretty sure that this is the issue with the slurring because my image is more slurred at the top of the print which is where the bearings stop rolling.Does anyone know what’s wrong, how it happened and how I can fix it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!Amanda ThomasÂ

Sp-15 lock-up bar not locking to the side - Posted February 11, 2008
I’m unfamiliar with exactly how a lock-up bar works but I don’t think mine is not working correctly. The extension block will not move when I tighten the bar down. (isn’t it suppose to?) I’ve taken it apart and noticed that there was a spring like part inside but when I put my finger in the hole and move the bar back and forth nothing moves. I was thinking that it should move up which would push the extension block out. (see attached image) As is, the lock-up bar doesn’t fit inside the bed bearers as it’s too wide. Would really appreciate any information/advice for what the problem is and how I could fix it. Thanks so much! Amanda Thomas
Sp-15 form roller help!! - Posted February 9, 2008
A friend and I just had our rollers recovered from NA Graphics and we’re sitting here putting them back together and the gear will not line up where it is suppose to. It’s the same for both sets of rollers. We’ve tried each side and every roller trying to get the gear to line up. It seems like we need to cut the roller down but this seems odd because shouldn’t the specs be correct? Please help! I’d like to have the press up and running this weekend and NA Graphics is closed until Monday. What should we do? Thanks in advance! Amanda & Berwyn
