Vandercook #3 for Sale! - Posted February 15, 2009

I am selling my beloved press!
I have come to a very difficult decision, but have decided to sell my Vandercook. It is in excellent, excellent condition. It needs no work at all. Hardly any rust. Cylinder, rails, bed and rollers all in good shape. It has a delivery tray behind the carriage which makes printing more convenient. It has original manual and all documentation with it.Vandercook 32-28 - Posted December 20, 2008
SOLD
Thanks for the listing Paul.
The mover picked up the 32-28 today and delivered a Universal lll which will be a bit more manageable.

For sale Vandercook 32-28 - Posted November 21, 2008
For sale: Vandercook 32-28, Serial number 16003, Maximum sheet: 32×30, Price $6,000.
The rollers are in excellent condition and it prints wonderful. I have printed posters using linoleum, wood and metal type, and photopolymer.
Buyer responsible for moving, I can recommend an equipment mover here in the Dallas are that hauls across the USA.
I am not using the press as much as I would like and making room for another smaller press.

Potter Proof Press for sale (NYC area) - Posted December 17, 2007
A friend of mine in Union City, NJ has a really nice Potter proof press for sale.
This press would need to be inked with a brayer so it would be most suited for block printing, proofing engravings, monoprinting or printing wood type posters. Asking price is $750. For what Kelseys are going for on eBay this is a steal. The seller is able to sit on it for as much as a month if you need time to remove it from his studio. Let me know if you’d be interested in checking it out or if you want more info.

Seeking Frisket Tower for Universal I - Posted November 1, 2007
I am interested in finding a frisket tower for my Vandercook Universal I. I think a lot of people take these things off, but I like them. Does anyone know of one that might be available for sale?
Thanks,
Daniel Morris

The Arm’s Vandercook #3 on eBay - Posted October 12, 2007
In order to make room for a new press I have listed The Arm’s Vandercook #3 proof press on eBay. Starting bid is $1. This press is missing its inking roller setup and would have to be inked with a brayer, but it should prove to be a good deal for someone printing monotypes or smaller editions. This press is sold as-is and is located at street level in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC.
If you’d like to stop by for a look let me know! And if you have any questions feel free to ask them here.

Motorless SP-15 on eBay in NE - Posted September 14, 2007
There is a Vandercook SP-15 on eBay in Omaha, Nebraska. It is equipped with a hand wheel to work the ink instead of the lower ink drum. These presses can’t carry quite as much ink as the motorized SP-15, but if this press is in your neck of the woods it might be worth a look.

Challenge proof press for sale in Brooklyn - Posted August 8, 2007
I am listing this for a local printer that is soon to vacate his shop. The press has an oscillating bed and requires the form to be put in a chase and inked with a brayer. It would probably be best for those who work with wood type or mounted linoleum. I suspect the seller would be willing to include a Miehle V50 chase with the press if a price were negotiated. It is shown with the handle removed, but the press is complete.
Pick up is from ground level in Brooklyn, NY. Anyone interested? Other items from the same shop can be viewed at the following address:
