I’m using Firefox on a Macintosh.

If I start a post I get a small window (four lines tall) which doesn’t appear to have any adustment as to its size.

If while I’m still looking at a blank post I simply click ‘publish’ and then after things settle down, click ‘edit’ I get a larger space to write and that space IS adjustable.

Just in case some of you have tried to write and have had problems that may help. When I was writing my previous note about registering I had photos to include which took up the entire space I was writing in.

WordPress is a good system but there are things that just bug me about it. Oh, well. Back to printing.

  1. I agree that the WordPress back end or dashboard has room for improvement. However, I appreciate the practically limitless customization it allows, especially in layout, tables and metadata. But yes, I’ve invested incalculable hours. Like letterpress, the extra effort makes all the difference.

  2. Well, WordPress is hands down the most convoluted internet blog format going today, but, if you have the time on your hands, Paul is sticking with it, and that is all that matters.

    Firefox is working fine here.

  3. Ray,

I use both. Yes there are differences in behavior between Safari and Firefox when used with a WordPress site. I have not tried Chrome yet.

ps. did you try to use the latest version of Firefox.
