The bearings inside the tracking wheels, that run along the underside of the bed, of my proof press are seized up. In the attached photo, you can see the two that are on this side of the press. I’m trying to figure out how to get them turning freely. They appear to be sealed bearings. So, I don’t think you can inject grease into them. If the bearings need to be replaced, I’m not sure how to remove them. The axels, around which they turn, do not have screw, or bolt, heads. Any advice that you could offer would be welcome.

The bearings are staked to the eccentric bolts fastened to the carriage. Staking is a method to connect two components, such as bearings and eccentrics, with pins that are splayed by a punch and hammer or an arbor press. Also called an interference fit.
Any machinist should be able to disassemble and restake. Look for a bearing part number, which should still be relevant for replacements. If there no number is present, measure the outer diameter (O.D.), inner diameter (I.D.), and the width. Your town may have a bearing store. Replacements may be metric.
