I’m looking to find a good home for a Vandercook 232P, due to unforeseen circumstances I have to let this gem go. I have done several large edition works on the press. It’s in great condition, rollers are in good shape, new wiring/good motor and it has all of it’s original parts and manual. It was moved out to the NW in 2006 from Kent Kirby’s collotype studio in Michigan.
Specs for the 232P
From c. 1937 Vandercook catalog
Maximum sheet: 32½” × 30″ Maximum form: 31½” × 28″ Floor space: 3’9″ × 10’6″ Weight: 5000 lb.
The serial number on the press is #13556, one of the last 232P’s made–probably sometime in 1949.
