Hello
I am about to move my first press home and wonder what tools are needed to remove the feed board? It is out of town so I need to take what I need with me.
thanks.

The gripper opener cam on SPs are fastened with screws and don’t need to be removed during transport whereas the cam on the 219 NS, Universal I, and 15-21 are held by splines.
Hi Paul:
Thank you for this help.
I am moving the press Wednesday once I have it I can send ownership and serial number information.
Can you possibly describe to me how I go about this step in the moving guide?
I am moving the preRemove or secure the gripper opener cam (e.g., Universal I and 15-21).
Be well,
Ray
The SP15 feed board is an easy remove. Typically there are (4) 5/16″ x 1″ socket hewad cap screws. The hex key (aka Allen wrench) is either 3/16″ or 5/32″.
Some models have shelving attached to the feed board and vertically to the end of the press with #10 roundhead screws and nuts.
Also, remove the castiron hand crank by loosening the set screw and driving out the taper pin.
I don’t have a Vandercook for you in the census https://vandercookpress.info/census/
Please tell me the owner and where it came from.
