Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here, so I ask that you bear with me if I say something obvious or written about previously. I have two adjustment questions.
The first involves the inker base, image below. It seems to be at a pretty severe angle to me. Is there an adjustment for this? I imagine that this is on a spring so that it makes contact with the form rollers well.
Second involves when the press releases the sheet at the end of the printing cycle. It seems to release the sheet pretty early. Is there an adjustment for this?
I also realize that there are some books out there that may have all this information, including Paul’s that appears to have a new edition coming out. Is there any other information that I should be looking at as I get this press ready for printing?
Thank you for being generous with your time, safe travels through the printed world.

The Challenge Series M inker base is regulated by two springs. The X-20771 drum springs for the Vandercook SP15 should be suitable. Contact NA Graphics.
As to the sheet releasing too early, it may be that there’s too much shimming behind the gripper release cam. See part 17 on pages 10 and 11 of the manual. Shims may have been added for the chipboard used by the previous owner/
