The gripper stem is sticking open on the last gripper nearest the printer. I’ve taken the mechanism off and applied a bit of lubricant from the bottom but it is still sticking. Has anyone had this issue before and how did you fix it?

Thanks, Paul. I’ll see if a burr developed. I was hesitant to take the locking nut off the bottom. I have a feeling it was bent. I’ll follow up if we have further concerns. Thank you!
Old style grippers found on a No. 4 or 320 can develop burrs on the stem, which can be filed or sanded. The stem can also become bent. Replacement stems (MR-151) are available from NA Graphics.
