The roller assemblies are pretty much interchangeable on old and new 219s; the distributors are slightly different but can be used on either press. The only difference I can think of would be the roller driving gears, which changed from a coarse to a fine tooth at some point before the press was redesigned. But you just need to match whatever tooth is on the rack.

Both of these items may be hard to find. Especially the roller frame. Start with “NA Graphics”:info@nagraph.com. They have the original drawings, so If you can afford it they may be able to have one custom made.

If you can’t afford this then post an ad on “Briar Press”:http://www.briarpress.org/, then email Dave Churchman and John Barrett’s Letterpress Things they are used equipment dealers.

Also: send me an email with your serial number (and note whether it has a power carriage and an adjustable bed) and I will add it to the “census”:https://vandercookpress.info/vanderblog/census/.
