Vandercook 320 for Sale

SOLD The press (sn 8527) has a 3×8 ft footprint and it weighs about 2000 lbs. The bed measures 20×46″ and can print a block that is 19×24.5″. It is not a production press like the SP15, but the large bed makes it more versatile and attractive for printmakers and poster printers. This press has been stored inside, but has not been used in 20 years.

Missing the distributing rollers (if you are hand inking this is not a problem, if you cannot find used ones and you want new ones made NA Graphics says it will cost $1500-2500 to build new ones), there is surface rust everywhere but it is not bad and the rails are in real good condition. The grippers are stuck in the up position but oil will get them loose. All 320 are galley height, so a .050″ bed plate will be needed as the one it had is pretty rusted. It has the “Handy Lock up Bar” and also a dead bar with lock up pins (LR-64).

It will be fairly straight forward to move. It is on a concrete slab in a basement one step below ground level. Then cross a grass yard (about 50 feet), which will need plywood placed on it. It is about 40- 50 feet to the 3x wide driveway, which has plenty of room for a truck or trailer.

Please make an offer if you are interested.
