This press is a survivor. It was shipped 9/27/39 to Drukkerij H. C. Van Grinsven NV, Venlo, Netherlands and was sold through Lettergieterij “Amsterdam” Holland. It made it through the war in fine shape based on the pictures.
Nice looking press. The feed board is missing, but is otherwise complete. This what I call the old style No. 3, because its cabinet is dark green, has a spring-loaded door and the print/trip lever is exposed.
the vandercook nr 3 was sold for 160 € without taxes and expenses ( 214,2 $)
