Hello,
Back again. Posted in November about a pin removal on my Universal I handle. In the end we had to drill out the top half and then were able to tap it out.
Now we need to get the handle off. Is a gear puller our best option?
Thank you,
Alison
Now that the taper pin is out, rust and/or grime is all that’s keeping the hand crank on. Spray some penetrating oil between the crank and the stub, let it sit for a while then, try to wiggle the handle back and forth. If necessary, tap the handle with a rubber mallet.
