True weight of No. 1 and its stand

    • Hi.

    I saw the catalog listing for the Vandercook no.1 on this site. The weight is listed as 410 lbs. Is that the shipping weight (with crate and packing), the weight of just the press, or the weight of the press and stand?

    I just bought a no.1 and have to move it to its new home. 2 strong humans or more?

    Hello, I think you might have this one. Serial #: 7777 in Philadelphia. It’s moving to Clifton Heights, PA (just outside of Philly.

    That is the weight of the press. A brochure says the shipping weight is 550 lbs.
    Please tell me the serial number and your location for the census.
