Does anyone know of someone in the Alabama area or nearby to do a refurb on a CRAFTSMEN SUPERIOR 6.5″ X 10″ TABLETOP LETTERPRESS? The press is in good shape overall. I would love to see it with new paint and cleaned up.

Great advice as always Paul. Thanks, scott
The main things would be repairing breaks and wear. Next would be cleaning and oiling. Then new rollers and fresh platen packing. I understand that you would want to paint, especially if the metal is rusted. But if the press is operational as you say, just clean off the excess grime and rust, then print. Think of it this way, you are preserving the history of the press. To put it another way, Fritz, says: “Do you what to play printshop or do you want to print?”
