The rollers on my recently acquired press are in a bad state and I will have to get them re-covered. Any indication as to what kind of hardness of rubber I will have to ask for? Soft, hard, medium? Any advice is welcome.

A durometer of A20 is the original Vandercook specification for use with metal type and photoengravings. It’s been suggested that A25 is better for photopolymer plates.
