Hi there,
We got the trip issue figured out.
Now the next thing; when we start to print the SP20 press sounds like a the roller gear is grinding when it hits the teeth rails. Can anyone provide some insight?
Thanks,
Cindy

Woodruff keys can be found at any hardware store. Take the roller and gear with you to make sure it fits. If too wide you can file the sides.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your response.
The spring is there below the starter teeth.
Do you have a detail of the woodruff key?
Cindy
Here are two possible causes:
1) The form roller gear is loose on the core and not aligned with the rack. Check that woodruff key (half moon disc) is between the core and gear. Tighten the set screw on the gear collar.
2) SPs and Universals have a small spring-loaded part in front of the form roller rack called the starting teeth. It helps ease the transition of the spinning form roller gear onto the form roller rack. Is the spring missing or clogged?
