Hello all,
I am new to the forum.I have 2 Universal III presses under my care and I am cleaning and refurbishing both.
The grippers on one press are not opening at the feed board in run mode and the cycle button does not work at all.
It seems an intermittent problem.I am replacing fuses and just noticed in the manual diagram it calls for a 3/4 amp slo blo fuse.
The fuse holder says 1/2 amp.
Would it be safe to try a 3/4?

Best to follow what the fuse holder says.
Power grippers also have a solenoid which could be damaged.
