I was looking through my Universal 1 manual and found the Max Plate or Form Size to be 15″ x 22″. The website indicates this measurement to be 13″ x 22″. Needs correction I suppose on one or the other.

Thanks Casey. That table was based on the one in Fred Williams’ article “The ‘Vandy’ A Splendid Press!” (Type & Press, Issue 67, Winter 1991). There is other data in the table that I intend to scrutinize.
Perhaps Williams was basing the form width on the face length of rollers with tapered ends?
